Pours a pretty dark amber color with a tight khaki colored head that settled into a light cap. Color almost looks pumpkin.
The aroma is big on the spice. I get noticeable cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. Some actual pumpkin notes as well as vanilla.
The taste is a bit of pumpkin bread. The spice is in check, again I get cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. Perhaps a touch over spiced. The base amber ale is nice, provides subtle caramel sweetness.
Moderate feel with fizzy carbonation. Sweet on the palate but not overly so. The ABV does pop up though as I get a noticeable alcohol presence.
A decent pumpkin brew. Could use some more pumpkin and ease off of the ABV.

A: The beer is hazy dark brownish amber in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a narrow collar around the edge and some lacing down the sides.
S: Moderate aromas of pumpkins are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has hints of ginger and spices towards the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I thought this was a good imperial pumpkin ale as it did a good job at hiding any traces of alcohol from the taste and it wasn't overpowered by aromas and flavors of spices.
