good zwickel with low carbonation inherent to the style. Caramel note in taste.

Sampled on-tap at the Friedel's Keller at the Kreuzberg, Hallerndorf.
This kellerbier/zwickelbier poured a brown color with light brown, sudsy foam that persisted. The smell was malty with a touch of roasty malt. The tatste was very nicely malty, with some slightly roasted malt flavor and dry caramel. The hops were modest. The mouthfeel was smooth and dry with medium-full body and low carbonation. Overall a very nice mouthfeel! This was a quite enjoyable and drinkable beer.
