Sampled at Friedel's Keller on the Kreuzberg in Hallerndorf.
This beer poured a light amber color with creamy, off-white foam that settled to a thin coat on the surface. The smell was tangy with some malt and a hint of spiciness. The taste was slightly tangy (from the kräusening?) and malty with a hint of sourness. The hops were moderate. There was a faint soapy flavor as well, though not a killer. The mouthfeel was dry and crisp with medium body and good carbonation. This was very nice overall, actually, despite some of the unexpected flavors.
