The beer pours a deep red color with a tan head. The aroma is full of meaty smoke as well as some toffee and caramel malt. The smoke is classic Rauchbier. The flavor is more of the same. The malts compliment each other very nicely with some sweetness from the caramel and a lot of thick, meaty smoke. Ashy. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
