Copenhagen 27/3 2021. 33 cl small chubby bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. Simple black label with gold and white letters stating that this is indeed a Belgian Beer (if anybody is in doubt with a beer named Belgica).

Pours unclear, pale yellow with a big and bubbly white head. Settles as a 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.

Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with a yeasty touch and metallic notes. Sweet pale malts. Oxidized sweet apple. Damp cellar. Light notes of metallic alcohol.

Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.

Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong bitterness with a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is quite dry and a little rough.

Fairly well-balanced Golden Ale with a little bitter bite in the finish.

Bottle conditioned. Hazy gold. Floaters. Frothy head with some gentle lacing.
Smells of citrus and allspice and tastes similar. Some biscuit apparent.
Decent carbonation. Moderate body.
Halfway between a B'White and a BPA.
