Copenhagen 2/4 2021. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. As "Belgica Beer Triple". Transparent label with the name of the beer in light blue and gold. Seems pretty preoccupied with the nationality of the beer.
Pours unclear - almost hazy - golden yellow with a mind-sized, extremely bubbly head. Disappears after a couple of seconds. Clumps of yeast whirling about. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty odor mixing with a sweet fruity scent. Sweet pale malts. Sweet banana and oranges. Yeasty whiff of damp cellar.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderate sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is a bit bitter and lingers for a bit. Semi-dry finish.
Decent if somewhat generic Tripel.
