Two traditional hop varieties are used for the light strong beer “da Großvoda”: Hersbrucker and Hallertauer Mittelfrüh. Combined with Pilsner malt, this results in a very drinkable, balanced, malt-emphasized Bavarian strong beer that is not too heavy. You can and should enjoy a few more of these in the evening.
