Poured a hazy caramel amber color into a Samuel Smith Imperial pint glass with a creamy tan finger high head that receded quickly and left minimal to no lacing. Aroma has a strong malt presence with a piney nose as well. Very flavorful and well balanced with a beautiful bitter sweet finish, (comparison to 90 Minute DFH is appropriate). Medium bodied with a slight tingle on the tongue, this 9.5% ABV brew kills, (I wish I had bought a few more to enjoy). Am really impressed with this quality DIPA. Excellent!

Think Dogfish Head 90 Minute and you have a handle on this anniversary ale. High in alcohol but old school in execution. Pours dark amber. Big whiff of sweet malts along with hops. Taste is hoppy but with a strong malt backbone. Very well balanced.
