An IPA with lots of everything: Flavor, aroma, mouthfeel. Ample additions of El Dorado, Columbus, Cascade, Citra, and Nectaron hops.

On draught at the brewery. A hazy, pale yellow pour with a modest, ecru-colored head and soapy lacing. Its smell is fruity with lemon, grapefruit, and a whiff of pineapple and berry. The taste offers a good balance between tart citrus and some sweeter tropical fruit notes, including pineapple and stone fruit, along with some hints of pine sap. I like the brewery's use of Nectaron and El Dorado hops; I rarely see them together. This ale is well-bodied with pleasant carbonation, and it doesn't drink as big as its 8.5% ABV would indicate. Overall, Funeral Jorts is a solid, enjoyable DIPA that is worth trying if you have the opportunity.
