Our latest effort to emulate the hallowed beers of Europe we love so much. Starting much the same as our flagship Gil’s Pils, GLINT was built on a base of 100% floor malted Bohemian Pilsner malt, assertively hopped in the kettle and whirlpool with Czech Saaz and Kazbek hops to 40 IBU and conditioned for a brief fortnight. GLINT drinks with bright, gentle bitterness, and the slightest hint of doughy yeast character; dry, pleasing, topped with that good whip you’ve come to know and love from Lua snappy bois.

500ml bottle. No dating found, but released on April 1st with a FaceBook posting.
Very slightly cloudy, gold colored body. Two fingers of white head upon pouring, which recede to a foamy cap. Some partial lacing walls are left on the non-drinking side.
Aroma of sweet toasted malts and fruity/spicy hops.
Taste follows with toasted malts with a touch of sweetness, joined by floral/fruity/spicy hops. Slight bitter bite at the end.
Medium mouth feel. Dry finish. Very good carbonation.
Easy drinking, with some dryness that calls for another sip.
