Poured cellar temp to a tulip glass. Dark mahogany color with very little carbonation. A fizzy head bubbles around only as long as you’re pouring, then totally disappears. Heavy lacing. Nose brings in a fair amount of banana and toasted hazelnut. First sips follow the nose, plus add all the other adjuncts along the way. Some debris and detritus floating on top, maybe banana bioflavonoids. Nice cacao nib bite up front, with a hazelnut middle, and fullness from the banana and coconut. Very sweet, with nothing to cut it. Maybe a little barrel aging or a bourbon chaser would spike it up a notch. Very syrupy mouthfeel, lending itself to sipping. Very syrupy outside the glass, too, where a little dab met my thumb practically glued it to the glass...literally, had to pull with force! Overall, very enjoyable.
