Lua came out with this triple IPA proclaiming it's the best IPA they've ever made and I can't disagree. It has a creamy smooth mouthfeel interrupted by big spicy tones that dance on the tongue and linger on the palette with a drying finish. Notes of white peach, lemon curd, chardonnay transition into black pepper, basil and dry bitter pine resin on the finish. The beer is a bright vivid hazy orange like pulpy rich mango juice, no visible particulate, dense foam made of fine bubbles that visually suggests orange dreamsicle and yet dissipates relatively quickly due to the brews higher alcohol content. Aromas of blood orange, white wine, and ginger with hints of ethanol growing as it warms. This beer is very big with huge and distinct flavors that are simultaneously familiar from modern brewing but entirely unique in presentation. A stellar combination of some of the more unique fruity notes from American pales, contemporary hazy IPA qualities, intense hop spice and the perfect balance of rich malt sugars against present but never oppressive bitter tones.

This is truly a perfect beer and if you can find it within the next couple of weeks I strongly, strongly recommend you pick up a bottle and consume it shortly thereafter. For all the fatigue in the industry regarding hazy IPAs this is a refreshing shake up that defies the norm while somehow still closely adhering to it
