Aroma is caramel/mild toffee and dark bread/barley malts. The flavor is fruit/mild berries, caramel/slight toffee and a very slightly spicy hop/brown bread/malty finish.

A light rusty brown with a good starting cap, a mid-life medium+ collar, and some lines of lacing. Nose has a toasted nut, lightly toasted bread, and some Maillard caramel notes. Taste has a bit of these in the opening, especially the caramelizar malt sugar notes (not that they’re adding a bunch of sweetness). A weak tea middle and a corresponding lighter than expected feel bring things down a bit. A light nutty, tea-like note leans slightly bitter in the finish.
