Turbid brownish-black with no head, yet it leaves a filmy residue on the glass.
Syrupy and nutty both, it's exceedingly nutty actually, even over the coconut character. I'm not sure if it's the malt, barrel or just the toasted coconut creating that sort of slivered almond and Brazil nut character, but it's very forward over some sweet nougatty decadence.
The body is viscous and sticky.
