Pours dark brown with a white head. Smell is of piney hops and roasted malt. Taste is hoppy followed by a nice, mellow roasted flavor. Mouthfeel is solid. A pretty nice version of a seldom seen style.

I love black IPA’s, and this one didn’t disappoint. Deep black, fuzzy head, earthy nose, moderate mouthfeel, and rich flavor with slight cocoa and caramel notes.
