Super black with light tan head. Cocoa on nose. Dark chart flavor with a good amount of bitterness on backend. Well done on all fronts especially the bitterness from charr.

Looks good with a jet black color. No foam although I was drinking a 4 ounce sampler so it’s hard to tell. Taste had some nice coffee bitter qualities but the chocolate was missing to give it balance. Almost nonexistent.I was disappointed in the mouthfeel because a high abv stout really needs a smooth coating feel but this didn’t have it. A little too thin for a stout. Like the other beers I’ve had at this brewery, this stout isn’t bad, it just doesn’t have anything to make you want more.
