$6 / pint at the brewery on 8 February 2020
Look: Hazy amber-orange body beneath a full head of rocky off-white foam. Better than average head retention and very good lacing.
Smell: Resinous and tropical fruity with notes of pineapple, melon, peach, and orange.
Taste: As the aroma suggests, it's got lots of tropical fruit to it over a biscuity and honeyish malt base. The bitterness is restrained but still present, and it finishes mainly dry with a dollop of honey-like malt wrapped in floral and tropical fruit notes.
Feel: Medium bodied and gently crisp across the tongue.
Overall: This is double dry hopped and that's apparent in both the flavor and aroma. Unfortunately apart from the flavors mention in the aroma everything else seems a bit muddled. Still, those flavors and aromas are nice but it'd be nice if they popped a little more. Perhaps a more basic malt base would allow that to happen.
