Twisted Gingers Brewing Co. "Buzzed Boredom"
$6/16 oz. on tap at the brewery on 08/02/2020
Well the Gingers hit me with a double whammy on my last visit. It's the first time I've tried their new pizzas and I was blown away! Seriously. I take pizza very seriously and I thought their "Bells & Bacon" was phenomenal. The "Buzzed Boredom" knocked me out as well. I wouldn't exactly call it a West Coast IPA but it's definitely headed in that direction. It's deep golden, maybe almost amber, and hazy beneath a white head of foam. It's citrusy with orange and grapefruit in both the aroma and flavor, and the malt is grainy and gently biscuity. A very firm bitterness runs straight through it and leads to a dry finish. Everything comes together nicely, working together, and it's what I call well rounded and balanced. There's nothing particularly new about it but it's a solid, hit the nail on the head IPA.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
