16oz can with no date, purchased at the brewery 6-4-20. Opened 6-11-20.
1/2" white head with good retention down to a cap. Ample lacing.
Opaque, orange-gold pale ale.
Orange creamsicle, berries and cream. Orange juice. Mainly citrus but has some tropical leanings as well.
Vibrant, zesty citrus flavors absolutely shine in this beer. No raw yeastiness.
Medium body, smooth mouthfeel and low bitterness. Medium carbonation. Medium length finish that ends dry.
Good looking pour - smooth integrated and no clump of nastiness waiting at the bottom...plus one.
Reviewing on my 3rd can, this is one of my favorite beers of 2020 so far. If you're close and it's available, drink it.

5 years later it's a different beer, still Very Good but definitely different.
Getting some melon in the aroma and flavor.

Fairly unimpressive appearance, with very good head production but poor retention. Aroma is a bit of a melange, but it's immediately impressive on the palate.
Tasting notes include orange, pineapple, grapefruit, lemon, pale dough. Slightly herbal, and very balanced. Mouthfeel is impressively creamy, with a body much fuller than you'd expect for only 6.6% ABV.

Very nice can. Immediately caught my attention. Got these on a pick 6 at HEB. For $3.69 I expected it to be great. I was not disappointed. Very buttery feel. Smooth and bubbly. Grapefruit mixed with sage. Hints of pine. Beautifully done. 93/100
