Good head production and decent retention. Body is absolutely beautifully dark ebony, apparently clear around the edges.
Lovely lightly roasted aroma, with hints of coffee, chocolate, cola, and dark bread. Not overly complex, but very nice.
More flavorful on the palate, moderately sweet at most, with big notes of chocolate to go along with prune, raisin, coffee, toast, and pepper. Creamy and smooth despite the sub-5% ABV.
