Copenhagen 6/3 2026. 33 cl can from Øltanken web-shop. Young Luke Skywalker and princess Leia on the can. Emperor seems to have a serious crush on Star Wars.
Pours opaque dark brown - almost black - with a small beige head. Bubbly. Disappears after a few seconds leaving a somber, flat and dark fluid behind. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet pleasant odor of roasted malts, alcohol and an earthy touch. Caramel and toffee. Dark chocolate, Brown sugar. Bourbon and leather.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, soft, viscous, creamy, flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter with a strong sweet and boozy undertone. Lingering. Finish is semi-dry and drenched in alcohol.
Nothing Hokey about this Imperial Powerhouse.
