"Something's coming up on us fast..."
That sense of dread is creeping down your spine. The only thing that can alleviate it is settling down with this luxuriant imperial porter.
With rich, dark chocolate, sweet, sticky maple and decadent nutty pecan....this is a beer to savour.
Be careful though, too many and you too may hear the words you've been dreading all along...

Copenhagen 26/3 2026. 33 cl can from Øltanken web-shop. A Interceptor ship from the Empire blasting away on the can.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as a thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. Patch of foam in the middle of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a strong sugary malty and boozy odor mingling with a bit of syrup. Sweet, roasted, dark malts, caramel and toffee. Brown sugar in abundance. Vanilla and honey.
Low carbonation. Thick, viscous, oily, soft, fat, creamy and flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and a bit sugary. Strong presence of alcohol. Lingering.
I am fine with being intercepted by this.
