Pours a dark reddish brown with thick tan head.
Smell is malty and fruity with notes of dried fruit, raisins, brown sugar, leather and coffee.
Taste is malty and a bit roasty. Fruity notes of raisins and dried fruit and darker notes of leather, coffee and dark bread. Soft bitterness and quite dry on the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice Altbier, well made with plenty of flavor.
