Trailhead took their Red Ale and dressed it up for the evening for those that want more kick in their ale. The Winter Ale pour is exactly like the Red deep ruby/amber color with a nice foamy head. Has a malty aroma, and the hop bite is much more noticeable in the aroma and the taste. Much more mouth tingle and something else pumpkin spice? But not overpowering still very smooth and drinkable for the long haul. Since its a winter seasonal, it wont be around for long a shame as this one is a step up from the very quaffable Red Ale.
