The taste is sweet with hints of dried stone fruit with a chocolate finish.

this brew had a very nice snow white head that left nice lacing down glass, nice job
a hint of graininess with some roasted malt notes and dare i say, a dash of hop aroma
lightly roasted malt and a hint of coffee and a hint of hop bitterness, not bad
slight creamy medium bodied brew
if there again i would order again

This was a decently good, but one-dimensional brown ale with too much bitterness and too little character or sweetness to support it.
Very dark brown, it had a small pale tan head soon thinning to foamy ring and wisps.
Aroma was very simple and basically dark toastiness.
Taste was lightly bitter roastiness up front, hint of caramelized gingerbread sweetness, but soon was dominated by the roasty bitterness with little else to back it up, making it bland and simply bitter and roasty so that it did not go very well with food and was tiresome alone.
