Clear dark yellow body with a small, frothy, white head, mostly diminishing with fair lacing.
Moderate hoppy (citrus, grass) and light malty (cereals) aroma.
Light-to-moderate sweet and light bitter flavour; short bitter finish.
Light body with watery texture; soft carbonation.

Sestri Levante 20/7 2024. 66 cl bottle from Gulliver Supermercati, Via Nazionale, Sestri Levante. Yellow label with golden ornaments and a Steam Ship. The name of the beer in blue.

Pours clear yellow with a big, fluffy white head. Stable. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.

Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a sharp bitter ans sourish scent. Subdued. Sweet pale malts, bread and cardboard. Grass. Grains.

Light carbonation.Thin, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.

Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a light bitterness. Aftertaste is thin and lightly bitter. Lingers shortly. Finish is neutral and a bit dry.

Middle of the Road watery Italian Pale Lager.

I had this one on a recent trip to Italy. From a 33 cl glass bottle, this beer is ultra clear with a modest white head. The aroma is lightly hoppy (more than extpected), backed with some sweetish-grains, and a bit of grass. The taste is balanced slightly sweet. It is Bedouin in body band reasonably drinkable, Okay.
