There is nothing the glimmering amber colour of this beer could be mistaken for – obtained through the use of caramel malt. Brewed using barley malt and dual use Perle and bitter Magnum hops.

My 600th beer review on this site! Wow. Let's hope this beer from Latvia doesn't let us down. This is supposedly a Vienna lager? Not entirely sure what a Vienna lager is, though I do usually always love Vienna Helles.
From memory Latvian beers are usually pretty crisp, refreshing and natural tasting. Can design looks pretty good.
Big head, quite intense orange colour. A bit too dark to look inviting to me. Strong caramel aroma and light hops.
Taste is similar to the aroma. Reminds me of some mega cheap extra strong beers that I had in Paris. This actually tastes like it is 7 or 8% alcohol. But it isn't. Dominant flavours are caramel and a rather dodgy off alcohol flavour. Really terrible aftertaste. Mega thin watery mouth feel. The hops are minimal and the caramel malt doesn't taste like beer at all if I'm honest. This makes pretty much every international commercial pilsner taste amazing.
Not quite bad enough to chuck down the sink, but very close. And this is my 600th review! I really was hoping for something a little more celebratory. Oh well. It tastes kind of like rust, maybe it's where the colour is from.

500ml can here in Kyiv, Ukraine. Is a nice dark amber color with a short head. Aroma is malt and candy. Taste is not bad. Soft malt and now sweet. Feels like lots of carbanation. Not terrible.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
