This is a really clear beer, light golden colour. Rocky white head which shows pretty good lacing and some initial retention. Strong carbonation.

S- Fairly typical pils aromas of clean malt, mineral bitterness, tart green apple. Noble hop bitterness, clean and biscuity.

T- Biscuit malt, light floral bitterness, some honey, a tinge of malty sweetness on the end of what is a very compact pils flavour profile. Lots of creamy malt, and light fruity apple and a touch of lemon bitterness. Very clean but flavour is quite pleasant actually. Finish is malty and clean.

M- Light, moderate carbonation, moderate light body, very refreshing and a clean malt feel that is light but not watery. A good example of a good lager feel that is great on summer afternoon. Really sessionable, the bitterness is quite mild but the balance works well.

A compact and tasty pils expression. It is really refreshing but packs some pleasant apple-lemon fruitiness. Malt-forward and not a terrific beer, but it drinks well, balance is pretty good and its very clean, and a good example from germany.

I had a bottle of this at the Brauereigasthof Kapplerbräu in Altomünster, about an hour northwest of München. It poured a clean, clear, golden color, maybe a bit light golden. Has a creamy white head which settles at about 1/4", and leaves decent lacing. Has a grassy hoppiness, though it is somewhat muted. Tad less than medium body-wise, but actually quite smooth on the tongue. Flavor consists of a mellow, floral hoppiness, though understated. Needs a bit more bite, yet Pater Simon could be a good "intro" Pils for some people. Still, it goes down nicely. Prosit!!
