On-tap at Beer Coffee, Buenos Aires, Argentina
A: The beer is black when viewed from afar but has traces of dark red near edge of glass. It poured with half finger high light beige head that has very good retention properties and hardly died down.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of dark malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell but the flavors of dark malts aren’t nearly as strong as those in the smell. No sweetness is present but there were enough underlying hops to mask any sweetness without contributing any sweetness.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied and a tad dry on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This stout is all about the dark malts but might seem a little one-dimensional.
Serving type: on-tap
