This Gasthof is about 1 hour by train northwest of München. Once at the station, it is perhaps no more than 10-15 minutes by foot to the Gasthof. The place itself is very woody, with big oak tables, benches and chairs. Lots of wood paneling, along with old photos, bottles, brewing equipment and artifacts adorn the one room I dined in (on the right upon entering from the street). There are, in fact, 3 or 4 rooms and a large hall to accomodate diners and/or groups. One negative...the pop-musik playing. Give me something German, please! Service was right there with a smile, whenever I needed to order another Bier or whatever... They served about 6 of their own Kapplerbräu Biers, brewed right across the street. I had a Pils and a Weissbier, with the latter being verrry good! The food was typically German, and priced fairly. I very much enjoyed a plate of Leberkäse and Kartoffelsalat, which was tasty and good-sized! Worth another visit, if in the area! Prosit!!!
