Dark brown, almost ruby colors. Mild head and lacing. Scents and flavors of barrel, vanilla, maple, brown sugar, honey, mild dark fruit, and molasses. Thinner and less bold than I expected, but rounds out well as it warm. Strong booziness. I like it, but I think it could be better.

The aroma is very enticing, with the vanilla invitingly intertwined amongst caramel, strong bourbon, and faint, woody cinnamon. Wonderful.
The taste doesn't quite measure up to the smell unfortunately. Up front decadent vanilla and smooth booze work well together along with caramel and faint raisin but the finish things out with a bit too much bitter, earthy wood.
Worth trying overall but I don't need to revisit.

Blackish brown viscous pour, no head. Aromas of bourbon booze and vanilla with supporting barley. Taste is laced with vanilla, bourbon is next, anise, barley, toasty oak, and mild earth in that order of intensity. Feel is maltier and thicker for style but plenty smooth and warm with booze, uniform instead of complex. Sneaky delicious
