Poured from 16oz can into my Bell’s tulip. I don’t see a date on the can.
Appearance: pale orange hue with plenty of haze and a thick head of frothy ivory foam, which leaves a nice chunky lace on the glass as it dissipates.
Smell: sweet orange creamsicle aroma with a little bit of tropic and a little bit of dank. Not too bad, although it’s hinting at being too sweet for my taste. Let’s find out!
Taste: ok, sweet, as I suspected, with a surprisingly mild hop character. There’s some nice orange in there, but otherwise the overall flavor is kind of … flat. Like, not enough juicy hoppiness to get through the malt.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a decent carbonation and a pretty good creaminess.
Overall: yeah, there’s just something kinda … flat, or dull, or something, about the flavor here. A little juicy zest would go a super long way for me.
