Cold Black IPA
On October 26th, 2024, we welcomed The Puddle—our dedicated community of Millpond enthusiasts—to join us for a special brew day: the inaugural Puddle Brew Day! Together, we crafted a beer that the group collectively decided to brew.
The result? “Deep End of the Puddle”—a 5.3% Cold Black IPA that’s now ready for release in cans and on draft!
This unique brew features subtle chocolate notes without the roasty, burnt malt profile. Its crisp, medium-light body is complemented by a dynamic hop blend of Columbus, Citra, & Mosaic providing dank citrus, berry, and some tropical fruit.

16oz can from Tavour. Near black pour, one finger fine off-white head settles to ring. Piney aroma, citrus, light dank notes. Taste comes across a solid West Coast IPA, except for that hint of roasty malts that really stretches this beer out. If it was a blind tasting, I would have guessed West Coast IPA first and pale ale second.
