Collaboration with Switchgrass Spirits.
Imperial Stout aged 12 months in Switchgrass Spirits Bottled In Bond Bourbon Barrels.
Notes of bittersweet chocolate fudge, bold bourbon character, dark fruit, warm citrus, and hints of oak.
Switchgrass provided us with their freshly emptied Bottled In Bond Bourbon barrel, while they took one of our recently emptied bourbon barrels (previously home to our Imperial Stout) to continue its journey.
We aged beer in their barrel, and they finished a rye whiskey in our barrel!
