Sleepy Eye Brewing

Located on the main street in a former movie theater. The marquee sign is the main giveaway. Street parking. Interior is divided between the taproom and a coffee/sandwich shop. High tin panel ceiling, exposed brick walls, and a wood floor. L-shaped bar with a granite top and metal stools. Other seating at low and high tables, and a rear section that has cushioned lounge furniture. Stairs near the front lead to an upstairs balcony. TVs above the bar. Twelve taps with standard styles. Crowlers to go, and limited release bottles. View of brewing equipment to the left of the bar. Friendly and hometown staff. Handsome spot with local charm.

It looks like an old time movie theater from the outside with their sign. Spacious seating. Bar area with a granite counter. 12 beers on tap while I was here. Beers are good, staff friendly. It's also part of Sleepy Eye Coffee co, so you can get beer and coffee if so inclined. Good place to visit.
