From a can with a smudged 2021 stamped canning date. Sample March 12, 2022.
The appearance is light amber-yellow withy a nice pulpy haze appearance under a modest, fading white head.
The aroma is all about citrus effervescence with maybe apricot and guava. Then I get a little white bread.
Light-medium mouthfeel albeit smooth.
The taste is sweet at first and then a zinger of grapefruit citrus zest bounds forward to complete the tasting experience. Somewhat crisp and clean finish.

A: The beer is very pale yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly died down, leaving a narrow collar and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of gooseberry and lime are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has lots of flavors of gooseberry.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied and very juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This pale ale is packed with lots of aromas and flavors of gooseberry from the Citra hops.
