Brought back from Brazil by the in-laws
Pours a light fizzy bubbly 1 finger head with med retention, touch of whispy laicing, mostly clear pale gold color

Nose fair amount of sourness, sharp acidity and funk, apple cider, little bready doughy malt, touch solventy note

Taste brings fair acidity and sour funk, more apple cider, light doughy malt, bready, raw dough, but thin and watery, touch lemony grassy note, a hint of plastic-band-aid

Mouth is thin watery, lower carb, little flemmy acidity

Overall I think my extra couple of months of sitting on this between rudzud and my review, let the beer go south, some off characters and less of the good stuff, but still not terrible

Thanks to JLindros for hooking me up with a bottle of this. Apparently someone he knows brought some bottles back with them from Brazil.

A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a nice slightly hazy pale straw hue with an almost comically thick four finger head that fades rather quickly to leave spotty lacing and a creamy halo with a light blanket.

S - Aromas of lactic acid, bright acidity, lemons, creamy wheat, almost honey like sweetness. Firm swirls produce an almost fruity pebbles cereal like aroma. Quite pleasant. Surprisingly so in fact.

T - Taste is similar to the nose with creamy wheat and a blast of lemon acidity up front. The honey like flavour is also unexpected, however, I do not understand Portuguese so for all I know there is actual honey in this. Unfortunately while this starts off promising is takes a turn. The middle, and finish, is very medicinal, almost plastic bandaid. It's not super prominent, but, it's definitely noticeable.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, little crisp, not overly flemmy. The lack of carbonation was to be expected considering how much of a billowy head this beer had.

O - Overall this beer had all sorts of promise but the off flavours on the finish ended that. Even considering that though this beer wound up being better than I thought it would be. I have had far, far worse beers from local breweries that presumably have a heck of a lot better equipment and access of ingredients.
