Brought back from Brazil by the in-laws
Pours an off-white fluffy foamy head with moderate retention and soapy lacing, very dark brown with a touch of light coming through
Nose is interesting, some dark toasted brown malts, biscuity, touch of caramel and toffee, some strawberry there but like frozen or canned strawberry, and it's light, with a strange earthy character coming in with the light cocoa
Taste starts with raw cocoa, plenty of raw cocoa, not even chocolate just raw cocoa nibs, a little fudgey, some dark malts but not roasty or coffee, very little bitterness, some from the malts and maybe a hint of hops, light strawberry again, and again it's more frozen or canned strawberry flavor, very light background, sticky mild sweet finish, more cocoa nibs coating the mouth with a touch of strawberry, and a bit more bitterness
Mouth is med to a bit fuller bod, a touch creamy, medium carb, no alcohol
Overall OK. Strawberry is very light but OK since it doesn't overpower or destroy the porter, but cocoa nibs kinda do, not a ton of base porter beer in there, but it's not bad overall

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
