Served in a tulip glass from the can.
Appearance: Deep dark amber colored body coming off semi dark with a bit of translucency to it. Tan tinted white head rising half a fingers lengths of the body.
Smell: heavy whiskey with deep notes of vanilla and toffee and invading the nostrils.
Taste: super complex coffee with hints of vanilla and light coffee and deeper notes of barley. It has a dark maple syrup feel that just lingers at the back of your tongue.
Mouth: super sticky body with a semi sweetness that stays with you consisting of maple syrup vanilla and caramel.
Overall: might be the best barley wine brewed here in the island that we call Long Island. It is complex ridiculously strong a touch boozy which I don't mind but it is a seriously a dessert and a glass. Salud
