Haven't had a Wheat Beer / Witbier in quite a while so when I saw this up at Cable Beverage recently, I wanted to give it go. Never heard of Ghost before and although this isn't a terribly popular style, I really enjoyed this as it was a lovely example of the style that had me wishing for Hefeweizen's of years past!
Of course, this poured like straw with plenty of spongy head topping it off. That took a while to settle down, as it was quite thick, as the lacing left behind was quite extensive and beautiful down the lower three-fourths of my pint glass. Plenty of round bubbles stuck around as I worked my way through this as they formed a lovely pattern with a few rings could be seen among what lingered. This smelled just like a Pilsner with some wheat and light orange as they came through just as strong in the taste. The wheat emerged in the taste as there was no need to cut this with a piece of fruit. Felt the honey in the mouthfeel more than on my taste buds, as the coriander, hint of champagne, and lively carbonation gave this the lightness and range of flavors that led to this not lasting in my glass for very long!
The label and ABV on here said 5.2% but on the side, it was listed as 5.0%. Can't say that I've ever seen that before but it didn't matter as it was impossible to detect *any* alcohol in this whatsoever. No date written on the bottom of the can but that was this beer's only drawback as I loved the playing card-like label and extremely accessible nature that this had. If you can't find an imported white, then grab this and enjoy spring while it's still here. This white paired perfectly with a comfortable night such as tonight!

This was pretty groovy beer - a "honey Belgian witte" per the label, featuring Amarillo hops, and pilsner, wheat, and flaked wheat malts, with the addition of bitter orange peel, coriander, and orange blossom honey... Very floral and citris - bright and fresh - mildly sweet, amply carbonated - a very nice take on the style...
