Frederiksberg 22/6 2016. 50 cl bottle from my sisters fridge. Black label in an inverse version of Krenkerup's usual design with a shield to underline that this comes from a castle.
Pours clear yellow with a white head. Settles as a thin layer of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is of sweet malts and a bit grainy. Sour undertones. A little alcohol.
Medium strong carbonation and a watery palate.
Flavor of sweet malts followed by light bitterness. A little metallic in the aftertaste.
Not a very inspiring semi-strong beer.

Brewed and bottled in the 1970's era, and drank almost 50 years later, I'm sure this beer had better days.
