Copenhagen 27/4 2022. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Krenkerup’s usual label design in a black version.
Pours slightly unclear, golden amber with a small white head. Rather stable. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a grainy sour scent with a touch of alcohol. Sweet pale malts, bread, grass and a whiff of sour grains.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a boozy touch. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Malty and potent but not very Belgian.
