Copenhagen 14/10 2022. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Dark green label in Krenkerups usual design.
Pours unclear amber with a big white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a prominent, malty odor mingling with a sharp edge of alcohol. Sweet pale malts and a whiff of toffee and caramel. Metallic alcohol.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a boozy streak. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Potent, sweet and boozy. No more and no less.
