Copenhagen 19/12 2023. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Brown label in Krenkerup's usual design sprinkled with small ice crystals.
Pours clear golden amber with a big off-white head. Stable. Settles as thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, slightly toasted, malty odor. Toffee, caramel and hints of brown sugar. Lightly singed bread.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, oily, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Nice enough Dunkel to pass the Christmas time with.
