Our brewmaster has brewed a well-balanced soft Imperial Stout with a pleasant mint aroma, and a strength of 8.3%. A beer with strength and taste.
This popular Limited Edition is back in a very limited run!
Patience is a virtue when brewing Imperial Stout. More than 3 months passed before the strong beer had exactly the strength and taste our brewmaster was looking for. We added mint for a fresh aftertaste and a pleasant mint aroma. The black beer with the lovely brown foam is a well-balanced soft and full-bodied beer. A pleasure beer that warms the body and brings a smile to the face. Enjoy it while you can - it is brewed in limited quantities.

Copenhagen 4/6 2020. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Krenkerup's usual design in black and mint-green with the ghostly image of a spearmint plant in the background.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a light beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet and spicy odor in dominance. Brown sugar, dark chocolate, mint like in a After Eight, tobacco and a touch of Colgate.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, viscous, greasy, oily texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet. Finish is cool and minty.
Well, they do declare it on the label: Beware of the mint. Well made but very much on the sweet and minty side.
