Once again, Krenkerup's brewmaster has created a 'Limited Edition' that impresses with its balance and intensity - this time by combining the best from the world of beer and coffee. The smooth and pleasant beer is created with Arabica Bourbon luxury coffee from the Ngorongoro area in Tanzania. Here, coffee of the highest quality is produced thanks to the volcanic soil and a perfect climate for coffee cultivation.

Copenhagen 15/9 2019. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Krenkerups usual design in dark, deep brown. A Limited Edition, I can understand.
Pours opaque dark Brown with a small off-white head. Bubbly. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is medium intense, sweetish and with a bitter twist. Dark Chocolate with a dark bitterness, cocoa, coffee. Light roast.
Medium carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a medium coffee bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undercurrent. Lingers for a while.
Not a bad porter - but when a Stour is called Coffee Stout I expect a little more weight on the Coffee vibe-
