Krenkerup Høstøl was the first beer brewed at Krenkerup.
It was in the summer of 2008 and now – 15 years later – it is here again.
An incredibly refreshing summer beer with body and impressive fullness despite a relatively low alcohol content.

Copenhagen 24/10 2017. 50 cl bottle from Meny in Nykøbing which has a decent selection of beers from Krenkerup. Modernistic, Indian-looking rendering of Demeter on the label.
Pours slightly hazy pale yellow with moderate white head. Settles as thin layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is not very strong. Sweet malts and sourish notes. Pretty clean.
Medium strong carbonation and slightly thick palate.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by light bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter with sweet notes.
Decent - but fairly boring German inspired brew.
