Harvested in the field, brewed and bottled on the estate
Krenkerup India Pale Ale is full-bodied with a subdued bitterness and a focus on freshness. The beer is brewed with our own barley malt and other selected malts. Generously dry-hopped with Cascade and Citra hops. The result is an IPA with a beautiful golden color, and an inviting aroma of lychee and citrus. The taste is slightly bitter with a touch of exotic fruit such as grapefruit and citrus. A wonderfully balanced beer that tastes like more.

Frederiksberg 22/6 2016. 50 cl bottle from my sisters fridge. "IPA" decorated with hops on the label.
Pours hazy golden yellow with a white head. Settles as a 1 cm thick layer of foam. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is a bit weak. Exotic sweet fruits and citric sourness. Pineapple and peach. Lemon and lime.
Medium strong carbonation and slightly thick palate. Oily and a bit flat.
Flavor is bit subdued and diluted. The characteristic sweetness of exotic fruit and citric notes is evident but not in a very potent sense.
A bit disappointing IPA.
