Good density to the head, finger deep, light tan with a dimpled surface, wispy lacing at best. Dark orange liquid with a good amount of particulate visible throughout, albeit not hazy. Orange reduction, pine cone, molasses make for a fairly sweet nose, more peppery than grassy, melon, pear, peach fruit scents, kind of heavy and leaden. Full-bodied, the carbonation adds needed prickle. Citrus laden, mandarin orange, tangerine to lime, not much grapefruit though. Pine, biscuit, slight floral uptick at the end. Same fruit array as in the nose, peach, apricot, melon. The flavor intensity is good but it lacks freshness for only two months old. Heavy enough that I don’t think I’d do more than one 16 ouncer in a sitting. (Canned 3/6/20)
