a: dark, murky nutty brown color with a hint of ruby red and purple towards the sides of the glass where the light hits. 1/2 finger fizzy tan head
s: lightly roasted malts and caramel. faint generic nuts and a slightly woody campfire note. toffee and more caramel. smells a bit thin for a Brown Ale
t: taste is more robust than the aroma. caramel, and roasted malts upfront which provide a slight bitterness. big woody note and some char as well. brown sugar and a nice big punch of cashew to close
m: thinner side of medium, low-medium carbonation
o: an ok Brown Ale. nose needs some work, but the flavor is right there. nice harmonization

Pours deep red with a thick white head that lasts. Aroma is malty sweet and woody. Taste is malty sweet with a touch of caramel. Feel is a little thin but okay. Overall it's a decent brown ale and at 4.7%, have a couple.
